PostgreSQL y Redis son comunes en Kubernetes: use StatefulSet (u operadores) para ID de red estables y PersistentVolumeClaims para datos. Los contenedores efímeros pierden datos al reiniciarse: los PVC sobreviven a la reprogramación de Pod. Prefiera bases de datos administradas cuando no tenga capacidad de DBA; el autohospedado necesita copias de seguridad, actualizaciones y agrupación de conexiones (PgBouncer).
