Si $a>0$ , $a\neq1$ , $b>0$ , el logaritmo de $b$ a la base $a$ es el número $c$ tal que $a^c=b$ . Escribe: $c=\log_a b$ (“base logarítmica $a$ de $b$ es igual $c$ ”). Singularidad: para fijo $a,b$ , $c$ es único (porque $a^x$ es estrictamente monótono $\mathbb{R}$ para $a>0$ , $a\neq1$ ). Dominio del símbolo $\log_a b$ en $b$ : solo $b>0$ . base $a$ : solo $a>0$ y $a\neq1$ .
