La función $y=\log_a x$

Dominio: $x>0$ . Rango: todo real $y$ . Aumenta si $a>1$ , disminuye si $0<a<1$ ; el punto $(1;0)$ siempre se encuentra en el gráfico. Asíntota vertical $x=0$ (la sucursal va a $-\infty$ o $+\infty$ dependiendo de $a$ como $x\to0^+$ ). Junto con $y=a^x$ es la función inversa: simetría respecto $y=x$ .

En problemas con un parámetro, monotonicidad de $\log_a$ marca la dirección de las desigualdades
