Candidatos en ese intervalo: • puntos finales a,ba,b; • puntos interiores donde f′(x)=0f'(x)=0; • puntos interiores donde f′f'no existe peroff todavía toma un valor finito (esquina, etc.). Luego compare números: máximo — max⁡\max, mínimo — min⁡\min sobre la lista finita de candidatos.
Un máximo global el R\mathbb{R} frente a [a;b][a;b] son configuraciones diferentes; no mezcle intervalos abiertos con [a;b][a;b]
