La multiplicación y la división son operaciones inversas. si sabemos3×4=123\times 4=12, podemos decir12÷3=412\div 3=4y12÷4=312\div 4=3. Eso nos ayuda a comprobar nuestro trabajo: después de multiplicar, podemos dividir el producto por un factor y recuperar el otro factor.
La multiplicación y la división se deshacen entre sí.
3×4=12⇒12÷3=43\times 4=12 \Rightarrow 12\div 3=4
5×6=30⇒30÷5=65\times 6=30 \Rightarrow 30\div 5=6
