Digits and punctuation

Thai uses two numeral systems — Thai digits () and Arabic (0–9). The choice depends on context: official documents, everyday life, and traditional texts favour different forms. Punctuation marks are borrowed from European tradition but applied less strictly than in Russian or English; traditional Thai symbols and special spacing rules apply as well.
