Nominal sentences

Nominal sentences in Thai are one of the fundamental syntactic construction types. Like many Southeast Asian languages, Thai widely allows sentences without a copula: the subject is linked directly to a nominal predicate — a noun, pronoun, numeral, adjective, or other nominal unit.
