La propriété distributive de la multiplication vous permet de multiplier une somme par un nombre en parties :

(a+b)\times c=a\times c+b\times c

. Par exemple,

(5+3)\times 4=5\times 4+3\times 4=20+12=32

. Cela facilite le calcul mental et aide à résoudre les problèmes de mots.
