Blue-Green and Canary: release strategies
Rolling updates replace instances gradually (default in Kubernetes). Blue-Green runs two full environments; traffic switches in one step—fast rollback by switching back. Canary sends a small percentage of traffic to the new version, watches metrics, then ramps up or rolls back. Choose based on risk tolerance and observability.
