Alertmanager: dedupe, route, notify
Alertmanager receives alerts from Prometheus (or compatible sources). It groups related alerts, inhibits noise (e.g. suppress node disk alerts when the whole host is down), routes by labels to receivers (Slack, PagerDuty, email), and supports silences for maintenance. It does not evaluate rules—that stays in Prometheus.
