CompletableFuture and Promises. Handling Async Task Results

CompletableFuture (Java 8+) is a Future that can be completed explicitly and supports non-blocking composition. Instead of calling get() and blocking a thread, you attach callbacks that run when the result becomes available. This is Java's implementation of the Promise pattern.
