Authorisation: RBAC and URL Access Control
Authorisation is the process of deciding what an authenticated user is allowed to do. Spring Security supports Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) out of the box: users are granted authorities (roles), and rules define which roles can access which URLs or methods. Roles are prefixed with ROLE_ by convention.
