Bean Scopes: Singleton, Prototype and Others
A bean scope defines how many instances Spring creates and how long they live. The default — and by far the most common — scope is singleton: one instance per ApplicationContext. Other scopes serve specific needs: prototype for stateful per-use objects, and request/session for web applications.
