A Sequence is a lazy Iterable — intermediate operations like map and filter do not run until a terminal operation (toList, first, sum, forEach) pulls values. That avoids building large intermediate lists. Create with sequenceOf, asSequence() on a collection, or generateSequence for infinite streams.
