Up, down, left, right, between

Directions help us describe where something is: up or down, left or right, or between other objects. When you practice on a grid, it gets easier to understand space and complete tasks carefully.
Up — move toward the top of the grid
Down — move toward the bottom of the grid
Left and right — move along the row
Between — the spot in the middle of two landmarks
How to find your way on a grid

Look at the landmark objects and choose which way to step: up, down, left, or right. If the task says "between," find the cell halfway between two objects.

Exercise with the heart
Move the heart with the arrows, then tap "Check". "New task" gives a different goal.

Nice work! You practiced directions and the "between" position. Keep going — reading the grid gets easier with every step.
