Trigonometric functions (sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent), their properties and graphs: periodicity, even/odd

Trigonometric functions of a real argument
In Grade 10 sinx\sin x, cosx\cos x, tanx\tan x, cotx\cot x are treated as functions of a real argument xx (in radians unless stated otherwise): each xx is assigned a value from the unit circle — the endpoint of an arc of length x|x| from (1;0)(1;0) (with sign for rotation direction). Then sinx\sin x and cosx\cos x are the y- and x-coordinates of that point; tanx\tan x and cotx\cot x are ratios of the coordinates (where defined).
The argument xx is a number on the circle (radians), not only an acute angle in a triangle
