Corner. Types of angles

Angle: vertex and sides

An angle is a figure formed by two rays that start from the same point (the vertex). The rays are called the sides of the angle. Common types: a right angle (9090^\circ, like a corner of a notebook), an acute angle (less than 9090^\circ, like partly closed scissors), an obtuse angle (greater than 9090^\circ but less than 180180^\circ, like an opened book), and a straight angle (180180^\circ — both rays lie on one line, half of a full turn).
The vertex is the common endpoint of the two rays
A right angle is 9090^\circ (corner of a square)
An acute angle is less than 9090^\circ
An obtuse angle is between 9090^\circ and 180180^\circ
A straight angle is 180180^\circ
