Problems to find price, quantity, cost

Price, quantity, and total cost

We often need to find the total cost of a purchase. Price is how much one item costs. Quantity is how many you buy. Total cost is how much you pay altogether. They are related by: price×quantity=total\text{price}\times\text{quantity}=\text{total}. For example, a snack costs $2, you buy 3 → total 2×3=62\times 3=6 dollars.
