Reciprocal numbers

Two numbers are reciprocals (multiplicative inverses) if their product is 1. For a fraction ab\frac{a}{b} (a0a\neq 0, b0b\neq 0) the reciprocal is ba\frac{b}{a} (in simplest form). The reciprocal of a whole number nn is 1n\frac{1}{n}.
The product of reciprocals is always 1
Reciprocal of ab\frac{a}{b} is ba\frac{b}{a}
Reciprocals are used in dividing fractions: division becomes multiplication by the reciprocal
Examples: reciprocal of a fraction
