For integer division, the sign rule is the same as for multiplication: same signs give a positive quotient, different signs give a negative quotient. Divide the absolute values separately.
If a:b=q, the sign of q is determined from the signs of a and b.
Same signs → positive quotient
Different signs → negative quotient
Division by zero is impossible
