OpenTelemetry — нейтральный API/SDK для трасс, метрик и логов. Приложения создают span с trace/span id; контекст передаётся заголовками (W3C Trace Context). Collector принимает OTLP, обрабатывает и отдаёт в Jaeger, Tempo или облако. Сэмплирование сдерживает нагрузку — tail sampling сложнее.
