Sequence — ленивый Iterable: map и filter не выполняются, пока не вызовете терминальную операцию (toList, first, sum, forEach). Так не строятся большие промежуточные списки. Создание: sequenceOf, asSequence() у коллекции, generateSequence для бесконечных потоков.
