Сумма и разность аргументов
Формулы сложения связывают sin⁡(α±β)\sin(\alpha\pm\beta), cos⁡(α±β)\cos(\alpha\pm\beta) и tg(α±β)\mathrm{tg}(\alpha\pm\beta) (где последнее определено) с синусами и косинусами α\alpha и β\beta. Их можно вывести из геометрии единичной окружности или из формул для cos⁡(α−β)\cos(\alpha-\beta); в школьном курсе обычно запоминают основные шесть строк таблицы ниже. Знак «минус» у косинуса суммы — классический «подводный камень»: cos⁡(α+β)=cos⁡αcos⁡β−sin⁡αsin⁡β\cos(\alpha+\beta)=\cos\alpha\cos\beta-\sin\alpha\sin\beta, а в разности — плюс перед sin⁡αsin⁡β\sin\alpha\sin\beta.
При tg\mathrm{tg} всегда проверяйте знаменатель 1∓tgαtgβ≠01\mp\mathrm{tg}\alpha\mathrm{tg}\beta\neq0
