(an)(a_n), (bn)(b_n), (xn)(x_n)… — это функция вида «натуральный номер nn → число ana_n». Пишут и короче: (2, 5, 8, 11,…)(2,\,5,\,8,\,11,\ldots) — это же последовательность с законом an=3n−1a_n=3n-1. Числа просто выписаны по порядку.
