Relative frequency
Suppose the trial is repeated n times, and in m of them event A occurred.
The relative frequency (often denoted Wn(A) or similar):
W=nm.
This is a fact about a series of trials, not a “pure model”: in a new series the number m usually changes.
For large n the frequency often fluctuates around the theoretical P(A), if the model is adequate
