Circumference is the curve (boundary): all points at the same distance from the center.
A disk is the part of the plane inside that boundary including the boundary itself.
If a whole (for example a disk or a rectangle) is cut into equal pieces, each piece is a part (a fractional part of the whole). One of two equal parts is a half, one of three is a third, one of four is a fourth (a quarter).
Important: you may compare parts only for the same whole or for equal wholes.
